| Brief To organise and promote the inaugural CLIC Sargent 24seven Challenge, an adventure event testing both physical fitness and mental dexterity. Operations • Managed event format and scoring system. • Volunteer organisation and management. • Co-ordinated the design of an interactive online entry and fundraising system. PR & Marketing Activity • Planned and implemented an integrated marketing and media campaign involving event launch with Annabel Croft. • Sourced case studies of participants with stories relating to CLIC Sargent or otherwise, to support media activity. • Created links with sports specialist media partners including Women’s Fitness and Tri247 website to increase national coverage. Outcomes • Successfully delivered an adventure event for 100 people raising over £38,000 for CLIC Sargent in the process. • Consistent coverage in South-West print and radio including Bristol Evening News and BBC Radio Gloucestershire. • Additional regional coverage outside of event stronghold, including London. • Excellent participant, volunteer and partner feedback.
